Draw the route once; the tick does the flying from here.

Five Waypoints, One Route

Plot up to five waypoints anywhere in reach, and autopilot takes it from there, crossing sectors and jumping through gates on its own, one step every tick, until the last waypoint is reached or you countermand the order.

Loop It Into a Patrol

Set the route to loop and your ship never stops; it cycles the same waypoints indefinitely, running a mining or hauling circuit without you babysitting a single jump. Cancel the loop at any time to hand control back to yourself.

By the Numbers

  • Waypoints, maximum — 5
  • Steps per tick — 1 / tick
Autopilot advances one step, a sector crossed or a gate jumped, every 5-second tick, in order, until the route is done or looped.

Everything in the Codex is part of a galaxy you can actually command.
