Dralvok
The Dralvok crossed with the convoy, not before it — no named homeworld stands behind them, only a code carried through the exodus: the open hand over the closed ledger. To take something openly is honest; to hold it and call the holding _order_ is a lie with better paperwork. That single conviction shapes everything else about them, from how they fight to why the Crimson Corsairs exist at all.

The Honest Hunt
Where a Protectorate patrol counts what it holds, a Dralvok tests what it can take. This is not bloodlust dressed up as philosophy — it is an ethic, argued as seriously as any treaty, that the closed ledger is its own kind of violence. The Dralvok do not see raiding as a departure from order; they see the Protectorate's order as a raid that never had to answer for itself.
An Argument, Not a Bloodline
That code is exactly the Corsair creed, which is why the Corsairs are Dralvok-_led_ without being Dralvok-_only_. Any Human or Khareth commander who agrees taking beats holding can fly the same colors — the war between the two factions is a disagreement about what the Expanse is for, not a war between peoples. The Dralvok simply argue it loudest, and first.
An Origin Left Unwritten
No source material names a Dralvok homeworld, and none is invented here. What is known is arrival: they came with the convoy, displaced like everyone else aboard it, and built their identity afterward out of that shared crossing rather than a place left behind.
Vanguard by Temperament
Predatory, aggressive, relentless — the Dralvok lean toward the front line of every fight the Expanse has, whichever banner they fly. It is a cultural gravity, not a rule: a Dralvok commander is exactly as capable behind a desk as ahead of a boarding party, but temperament keeps most of them at the edge of the map, testing what can still be taken.
