Molvath

The Molvath is the fleet's freight workhorse — hull 30, shield 8, cargo 60, and no weapons of its own. It sits in the middle of the fleet's three hauling hulls: double the Vessik's hold, but a third of the Torvan's — the hauler a fleet upgrades to once a Vessik's 30 units stop being enough.

Role in the fleet

At 300 credits, the Molvath is a modest step up from the 200-credit Vessik for a large jump in cargo, and a much cheaper commitment than the 1500-credit Torvan. Station trading is what that hold exists for — the bigger the hold, the fewer trips a trade route needs, and the more a single ambush costs if it goes wrong.

Sixty units is a lot of cargo to lose in one hit. A Molvath runs escorted routes for a reason.

Everything in the Codex is part of a galaxy you can actually command.
