The Kibby is the fleet's only starter hull — a mining tug with hull 15, shield 5, zero firepower, and a 10-unit cargo hold. Every new commander begins with three of them: two grouped at the starter station and one already parked on a belt, so a fresh commander's first order is a mining run before it is ever a fight.

The Kibby II is the mining line's frontier upgrade — the same unarmed extraction role as the starter Kibby, but with three times the cargo, twice the hull, and an extraction cadence cut from the standard three ticks to two. It is still built for open belts, not open combat: zero firepower, same as the hull it replaces.

The Novik is the first armed hull the Wayfarer Concordat ever puts in a new commander's hands — fire 3, shield 5, hull 14, priced at 250 credits, well under the 500-credit Varka that becomes the fleet's first real escort later on. It is not built to last a campaign. It is built to survive exactly one training contract and teach a green commander what firing on a real target feels like.

The Varka is the fleet's first real gun — fire 4, hull 20, shield 8, balanced across the board rather than pushed to any one extreme. Where the Drael trades survivability for damage and the Korrun trades damage for survivability, the Varka sits in the middle of both curves, which is exactly what makes it the escort a young fleet reaches for first.

The Korrun is the fleet's tank — hull 26, shield 16, and shield regeneration 4, the fastest recovery of any hull. Firepower sits at 3, half the Drael's 6: a Korrun is not built to win a fight on damage, it is built to still be standing when the fight is over.

The Drael is the fleet's hardest hitter — fire 6, the highest of any hull — carried on the thinnest frame in the fleet: hull 13, the lowest of any hull, and shield 4, tied for the lowest. It is built entirely around one idea: land the first blow, because it may not survive to land a second.

The Vessik is the fleet's budget hauler — 30 units of cargo for 200 credits, the cheapest hull a commander can buy outright once the starter Kibby stops being enough. It triples the Kibby's cargo hold but keeps a similarly thin shield, the same 4 points carried by the fleet's own glass cannon, the Drael: a Vessik is built to move more, not to survive more.

The Molvath is the fleet's freight workhorse — hull 30, shield 8, cargo 60, and no weapons of its own. It sits in the middle of the fleet's three hauling hulls: double the Vessik's hold, but a third of the Torvan's — the hauler a fleet upgrades to once a Vessik's 30 units stop being enough.

The Torvan is the fleet's heavy hauler — 180 units of cargo, three times the Molvath's hold and six times the Vessik's, backed by hull 45, the fleet's highest, and shield 14, second only to the Korrun's 16. It carries no weapons of its own; everything about the Torvan is built around how much it can move in one run, not how it defends the run.
