Drael
The Drael is the fleet's hardest hitter — fire 6, the highest of any hull — carried on the thinnest frame in the fleet: hull 13, the lowest of any hull, and shield 4, tied for the lowest. It is built entirely around one idea: land the first blow, because it may not survive to land a second.

Role in the fleet
At 900 credits, the Drael costs less than a Korrun but still more than a Varka — the price of a hull that wins fast fights and loses slow ones. Combat explains why: shield absorbs damage first and hull never regenerates, so a hull this thin has almost no margin once its shield is down. Fielded alongside a Korrun to draw retaliation, a Drael's fire 6 is what actually ends the engagement.
Strike first, because the Drael is not built to survive being struck first.
