The Void Dominion is an administrative order, not a faction — it holds no spawn quota and no stronghold, and it has never fought the Nexus Protectorate or anyone else. It keeps ledgers instead of garrisons, and its territory begins exactly where the Ethereal Expanse's cold door, Dark Matter Reach, opens onto the region that shares its name.

The Astral Consortium is a second administrative order at the edges of secured space, alongside the Void Dominion and the Wayfarer Concordat — no spawn quota, no stronghold, no interest in the war between the Nexus Protectorate and the Crimson Corsairs. It runs the region that carries its name, one gate further from the Ethereal Expanse than the Dominion itself.
