Boreal Marauder
The Boreal Marauder is a Crimson Corsair ideologue who camps the Stellar Frontier's shipping lanes near Frontier Bastion, the region's only lawful station — not to avoid a fight, but to prove the Corsair creed on the lawful order's own doorstep. Where most reavers work the deep dark because lawful eyes cannot follow, the Marauder chooses to raid in plain sight of the one garrison that could answer.

The frontier belongs to who takes it
Dralvok to the bone, the Marauder is the ladder's second voice for "the honest hunt," after the Crimson Skiff Raider — but the two do not tell the same story. The Raider is a green pilot's first taste of combat, disperse and low-stakes by design, parked one jump outside the Nexus Protectorate's hottest door. The Marauder is a deliberate provocateur: he does not merely live the Corsair creed, he stages it, harassing convoys within sight of Frontier Bastion because a raid that lawful crews can see is the argument made loudest.
Boreal Wake, security 4
Boreal Wake sits at security 4, tied with Auric Maw and Onyx Halo as the middle rung of the danger gradient — intermediate on the threat ladder, tougher than the Skulker's paperwork war but nowhere near the deep dark's worst. He flies a Varka, the same hull class as the Ledgerbleed Skulker, built for a fight that does not end the moment a patrol turns to look.
A convoy that reroutes around Frontier Bastion to dodge the Marauder has already proven his point for him.
