Astral Consortium

Astral Consortium is the region beyond the Void Dominion, reached through a second gate rather than through the Ethereal Expanse directly — one more rival legitimacy at the edges of secured space, run by the Astral Consortium, an order with no interest in anyone's war.

Astral Consortium is the region beyond the Void Dominion, reached through a second gate rather than through the Ethereal Expanse directly — one more rival legitimacy at the edges of secured space, run by the Astral Consortium, an order with no interest in anyone's war.

Reached Through the Dominion

There is no direct gate from the Expanse into this region. The only way in runs through Void Dominion space first, which makes Astral Consortium the quieter of the two administrative regions the cold door eventually leads to — one step further from anything the Nexus Protectorate actively patrols.

Consortium Spire

The region's one major station, Consortium Spire, keeps a full stock and a busy contracts board. Its arboreta grow more seedlings than its own towers can hold, and the young colonies further into the frontier depend on what ships out from here — every dome that survives the run is one more month those colonies get to eat.

The Ledger Runs Both Ways

Consortium Spire is also where Dominion Yard's sealed records end up: twice a cycle, couriers carry data cores between the two stations so the Consortium's auditors can check the Dominion's own books. Two orders, two regions, one ledger passed back and forth between them — proof that "rival" does not have to mean "enemy."

Everything in the Codex is part of a galaxy you can actually command.
