The Voidglass Sovereign reigns over the richest ore field in the galaxy from Solace Verge, in the Outer Periphery — the deepest system on the reaver ladder, in the shadow of the Last Lantern, the Crimson Corsairs' own farthest and most self-governing court. Voidglass, the mineral value ladder's top rung, exists only where the Nexus Protectorate's presence-based authority cannot follow — and the Sovereign rules the deepest of the three regions where that is true.

The throne at the bottom of the ladder
Khareth, closing the extraction thread the Ledgerbleed Skulker opened at the ladder's safest end and the Onyx Claimjumper carried further in, the Sovereign is the third and final Khareth voice on the roster — from falsifying an order's manifests at the frontier's edge to ruling its richest ore field at the very bottom of lawless space. Solace Verge sits at security 1, the lowest of all nine reaver elite placements.
A boss, not a formality
He flies a Korrun, the same hull class as Warden Kael, and he carries the heaviest defensive training on the roster — reinforced plating and heavier shielding that turned what was once winnable by two ships on a lucky roll into a fight that now takes a real wing to bring down. He hits no harder than before; he simply refuses to go down easy, the roster's capstone rather than merely its ninth entry.
The Last Lantern keeps its own court at the edge of everything. The Sovereign keeps the ore field that pays for it.
